About written articles
I am a member of The International Travel
Writers Alliance.
First and foremost, I am a photographer. I
therefore write only in situations where I
believe it is appropriate to add value to my
photography.
My images are sold on the basis of Rights
Managed licensing. I do not sell images on a
Royalty Free basis as a properly negotiated
license gives better value to both the buyer
and me.
The articles that I write are sold on condition
that they are used with my images.

goals in maintaining standards of Quality.
When I write, I do so with this in mind. I do
not simple throw words into a package of
images.
Therefore I expect to be paid competitive

written work.
I work with some charities and will
sometimes donate my time to assist those
that I feel will benefit from what I do. I do not
treat commercial ventures as charitable
organisations and expect such organisations
to treat me in the same way.

£150 and £250 per 1000 words, depending
on subject, location, and amount of research
incorporated in the article
